Move toward something
Grapple, double jump, flip, slide, rails, and zip lines are all in PIGSHOT. They are useful when they end at a crate, a teammate, or a shot you can actually take. They lose rounds when they end off the map.
Start with the documented PC basics: Space jumps, C slides, left-click fires. Look at a zip line and press Space to board it. Remember that Space is also jump, so aim at the line on purpose.
A route, not a button mash
- Pick the destination before the grapple: a crate, a safer platform, or your team.
- Look at who is already standing there. Swinging into an armed pig is not an escape.
- Keep the landing in view. A swing past the platform is a fall.
- Add a double jump or a flip only after the simple jump still lets you see the target.
Rails connect parts of the arena. Use them to reach a weapon or to get back to a teammate, not to follow an opponent farther from your team. Guides do not publish a separate rail key.
Movement around crates and explosives
The first trip should be toward a crate if you are unarmed. If that crate is contested, take another path. After you have a gun, keep a second pickup in mind so an empty magazine does not strand you.
The rocket crossbow knocks you back. Fighting one on a lip is how a hit becomes a fall. The grenade launcher wants a direct impact, so keep moving between your own shots instead of standing still to aim.
Against a shotgun, grapple away and take the longer shot if you have one. Do not swing into the same tight space they want.
3v3 spacing
More pigs means more bodies on the same rail, zip line, and crate. Spread the approach. If a teammate already took the gun, find another box and rejoin from an angle where you can shoot without standing in their line. When you chase, leave yourself a route back.
