First match: tutorial, crate, then fight

Finish the tutorial before you queue

PIGSHOT puts you in round-based pig duels. The first side to win three rounds takes the match. The tutorial is the gate to the lobby: it asks you to eliminate three enemies, and finishing it unlocks the lobby menus, including Shop.

On PC, practice the inputs the tutorial is built around before you worry about fancy routes.

  • Left-click fires.
  • Space jumps.
  • C slides.

Double jump, flip, and the grappling hook are also in the kit. Follow the tutorial prompts for those. Published guides do not list a separate key for the hook or the flip.

Play on the official experience: PIGSHOT on Roblox.

Your first round is a crate problem

You can enter a round without a gun. An opponent who already has one should not be your first destination.

  1. Look for a nearby weapon crate.
  2. Check who else is moving toward it.
  3. Open it only when you can stay on the drop. Another pig can take the weapon that falls out.
  4. Identify what you picked up, then decide whether to fight or move.

If someone else gets armed first, grapple, jump, or slide toward a different crate. Running at a shotgun while you are empty-handed is how opening rounds end.

Crates can also drop a shield instead of a firearm. A shield can break, so keep a way out instead of treating it as a full round of cover.

After the lobby unlocks

Shop sits at the bottom of the lobby. Codes sits at the upper right of the Shop window. The listed code PIGSCANFLY is worth 150 Coins once you can open that menu. Daily tasks add extra rewards on top of the Coins you earn from matches. Shirts, pants, hats, crowns, colors, patterns, and stickers are the customization options described so far. Individual Coin prices are not published.

Vote for a map you can already picture. Named arenas include castles, desert ruins, and shipping docks. Other battlefields exist, including maps added in the early October updates, but their names were not published with those dates.

What to ignore on the first day

Game passes cost Robux and their in-match effects are not described in public guides. Read the purchase prompt. Do not buy The Arsenal at 4,999 Robux just because it is the expensive one.

Cheating is a permanent ban. Exploiting glitches is not allowed.

A simple first-session order

  1. Clear the three-enemy tutorial.
  2. Redeem PIGSCANFLY if you want the 150 Coins.
  3. Queue a 1v1 and spend the round getting a gun, then landing shots while you jump.
  4. Only then add grapples that end on a platform you can see.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you win a match in PIGSHOT?

Win three rounds before the other player or team. A 2-0 lead still needs one more round, and 2-2 makes the next round the decider. Eliminating the opponent takes a 1v1 round. In a team match, the other side has to be eliminated before the round is yours.

Do you start a round with a gun?

No. Rounds can start with you unarmed. Weapon crates drop guns during the fight, and opening a crate does not reserve the weapon for you. Another pig can pick up what falls out.

Where is the code box?

Finish the tutorial first. In the lobby, open Shop at the bottom of the screen, then Codes at the upper right of the Shop window. Paste the code into Enter Code and select Redeem.

What are the PC controls that guides actually list?

Left-click fires, Space jumps, and C slides. Look at a zip line and press Space to get on it. Double jump, flip, and the grappling hook are part of the movement kit, but published guides do not give separate key binds for the hook or the flip.

What do the Robux game passes do?

Published prices are known. What each pass changes in a match is not. Read the purchase description on the Roblox prompt before you buy. Barn Runner is 49 Robux, 2X Speed is 149, Turbo Trotter is 199, Golden Hoof and 2x Bacon are 499 each, and The Arsenal is 4,999.
