Map voting: castles, ruins, docks, and later arenas

Vote among castles, desert ruins, shipping docks, and unnamed extra arenas. Every map still starts with the same crate problem.

What you can vote for

Players vote for the arena before the fight. The settings named in the official description are castles, desert ruins, and shipping docks. Guides also say other battlefields are in the vote. An October 19–24 update was described as adding maps and guns, and October 31 was described as adding another map. Those later map names were not published.

Vote for a familiar arena when you want to practice shooting. Vote for a new one when learning the layout is the point. The three-round match gives you more than one trip through the same vote if you stay in the session, so use a lost round to remember where the crates were.

How to read any arena

Exact crate coordinates are not published. The same opening still works on every named map.

  • Find a crate before you chase.
  • Stay on the weapon after the crate opens.
  • Leave a contested box for another drop.
  • Keep a landing that is not the edge of the map.
  • In team modes, do not send every pig down the same lane.

Castles, desert ruins, and shipping docks are different scenery around that same loop. Do not expect a published callout map for corners or high grounds. Learn one route between two pickups, then a route away from a ledge.

Knockback and accidental traversal

Edges matter more when someone has a rocket crossbow. A direct hit can shove you off. Zip lines use the jump key when you look at them, so a crate sitting next to a line is easy to misclick. Rails are travel, not cover. Finish the ride where you can still shoot or where a teammate is, not in the middle of the other team.

After the vote

The lobby Shop, codes, and cosmetics are not on the arena. Handle those between matches. During the vote, the only decision is which layout you are willing to find a gun on.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you win a match in PIGSHOT?

Win three rounds before the other player or team. A 2-0 lead still needs one more round, and 2-2 makes the next round the decider. Eliminating the opponent takes a 1v1 round. In a team match, the other side has to be eliminated before the round is yours.

Do you start a round with a gun?

No. Rounds can start with you unarmed. Weapon crates drop guns during the fight, and opening a crate does not reserve the weapon for you. Another pig can pick up what falls out.

Where is the code box?

Finish the tutorial first. In the lobby, open Shop at the bottom of the screen, then Codes at the upper right of the Shop window. Paste the code into Enter Code and select Redeem.

What are the PC controls that guides actually list?

Left-click fires, Space jumps, and C slides. Look at a zip line and press Space to get on it. Double jump, flip, and the grappling hook are part of the movement kit, but published guides do not give separate key binds for the hook or the flip.

What do the Robux game passes do?

Published prices are known. What each pass changes in a match is not. Read the purchase description on the Roblox prompt before you buy. Barn Runner is 49 Robux, 2X Speed is 149, Turbo Trotter is 199, Golden Hoof and 2x Bacon are 499 each, and The Arsenal is 4,999.
